S-Life is a Russian punk group playing in the styles of hardcore punk / punk rock / punk metal. Formed by two people in the city of Ivanovo. Matvey Kovalev "copper" - guitarist, vocalist and George Galanov "Martins", playing on drums, the leader of the group. Most of the texts wrote copper, but Martins wrote about five songs. The group changed styles from the light hardcore punk to a quick and melodic one. The text of the group contain the ideas of anti -globalism and Straight Edge. Until a certain point, the group was called "choice", after the "second life", but due to banality, it changed it to "s-life" where s is second.
Story
In grades 5-6, Martins interested Martins in rock and punk music, showing a telephone application a simulating drum installation. And also showing such groups as "Civil Defense" and "13768". Until that moment, Martins in the preschool years imagined the game on the guitar in front of the mirror, playing on a tennis racket under the songs of the Aria group. And at that moment the copper at that moment was actively listening to the post-punk in the person of 83161 and Punk rock Civil Defense, 84601, 67977, Ramones and 15849. Later, going to the garage and hardcore punk in the person of 65272, 11500 and 45379 C Bad Brains. During the summer holidays, the group decided to play the houses at the copper, instead of drums there were garden buckets wrapped in transparent adhesive tape, and at first, instead of drum sticks, there were pieces of discarded furniture. So about ten demon groups were recorded without the name in different styles. From the crooked hardcore covers on the purgen to Neuza and Black Metal. One of the last records was a song called "Garage Punk" where Riffy of the future song "Choose yourself" attended. At the beginning of the school year, a competition was held where it was necessary to perform with a song, a group consisting of a copper, Martins and several classmates at the sakes of a civil defense zoo group. Having taken the second place, Martins offered to assemble a group and play at school. Then they took the guitarist Artyom Buylov "Kobein" to the group, he had bad games and was taken due to technical problems. And by November 15, 2023, a group of then also called "choice" was formed. On New Year's Eve, a concert was held in the school canteen, where the songs “Choose yourself”, “New Time” and “Planet” were played, as well as three casters for groups “King and Jester” and “Gas Sector”. The concert was played medium and was not audible due to acoustics of the dining room. Then the first songs were invented: “Choose yourself”, “New Time”, “Planet” and “Chaos and Anarchy”. On February 10, the album “Choose yourself” was released without the participation of Cobain, the album can be considered demo due to the quality of the game. For some time in the group was the vocalist Lena, who left the group for his reasons. At the time of 04/27/24, the group works on the second album. The school administration, on the other hand, is sharply negative about the rehearsals of the group, calling them "noise and roar", repeatedly prohibiting rehearsal.
