1984
In January 1984 the band under the baton of Boruta Činč recorded the first track, the "Umiranje - Death", "Srečna mladina - Happy youth", "Zastave - Flags" and "Melanholija - Melancholy". Borut Činč stayed as the producer of most other recordings of Niet.
The group first performed at New Year's party in 1984 in MC Zgornja ika. In April the same year they recorded their first hit, "Depresija - Depression". One month later the group joined the singer Tanja Bell.
In September of 1984 Niet appear on the Novi Rock. Appearance is a great success and indicates a break in the development group. Before the end of the results of the first cassette, "Happy Youth - Srečna mladina", also recorded a song that has become their biggest hit, "Have a nice day of death - Lep dan za smrt".
1985
In winter there is a change in occupation. The Tanja Bell and Toma Dimnik leaves the group, they got a new drummer Toma Bergant and second guitarist Robert Likar in 1985.
In February and March were Niet on tour in France, where they returned in May of that year when they played two concerts in Paris. In YURM festival in Zagreb, they come into finals (April).
September 1985 re-appear on the Novi Rock, this time as guests. Under the new Rock followed by "Adriatic tour pobjednika YURM-a".

January 1986 Niet appear in three concerts in Belgrade. One month later organize the last concert in Ljubljana, in a student village in the valley Roni.

In autumn 1988 the group Niet cease operations, "mainly because of lack of will, women and heroin!" - (Dernovek).
In May 1991 Primo Habič (vocalist) died because of an overdose of heroin.
In 1993, a major author Igor Dernovek formed a new ensemble, in which (in addition to guitar) assumes the role of singer. In addition to his work in the group is Kolbezen (guitar) and Vobovnik (bass) and drummer of "Pankrti" Slavc Colnarič.
At the end of last year Niet recorded tracks: "Sick of you", "Pure and Devine", "Till we fall", "Queen of Snakes", "It was May - Bil je maj" and "Russian spy - Ruski vohun". Outcome remains the same title debut CD and a promotional tour in Slovenia. Thereafter, the group finally disintegrates.
2008 - Niet come back
31. March Niet re-appear in Orto bar. Niet, appear almost entirely in the old place - Igor Dernovek (guitar), Ales Čenovar (bass), Thomas Bergant (drums) and Robert Likar (second guitar) - are rather legendary deceased Primo Habič a microphone built Borut Marolt (listen to Silence) .
