The origins of the band dates back to 2001 when first compositions, which are still in Alchemy's repertoire, were written. Since 2003 is the band on musical scene under the name Alchemy. Genre of Alchemy's music was instrumental art or progressive rock. In 2004 relased Alchemy first six track studio record called Alchemy. In summer 2004 saw the light of day second CD Alchemy with four songs called Wailing Garden. Melancholicly dark guitar parts, underlined by stringend violoncello melodies, are on this record even more expressive. Alchemy presents itself not only on concerts, but also in competitions and other cultural actions. On the beginning of 2008 started Alchemy thinking about singing. Since then is the music not only instrumental, but also vocal-instrumental. In spring 2009 was self-released third demo record called Another Face. From filmed studio sessions was created also a video for song La Danza Macabre.
