The band was originally founded as "Young Lions" but soon changed the name to Chapter 21. When founded no other known band used the name, the chapter 21 is the 21st chapter in Anthony Burgess s fiction novel Clockwork Orange. The chapter was deleted for the USA book s edition and also was never put on celloloid. If you know the content of that chapter it changes the whoel opinion about the movie. The most important thing is that the main character, Alexander de Large, finds out that only he can think for himself and no one else.
The Line Up of the band at the time when the 7" was produced: Perry - Bass, Mike - Vocals, Dan - Guitar, Brian - Drums. Perry and Mike used to play in a band called Strike One and when they split up they decided to carry on. Chapter 21 was more a project band. They have just recorded this 7" and another on Vulture Rock. The band has split up today, Perry, who used to do Chicagos Carry no Banners fanzine, plays bass for the Templars now.
