Biography : Klincz
The Klincz was established by Marek Dutkiewicz and Ryszard Kniat. They were his main driving force. This is very reminiscent of the history of the founding of Lady Pank, which gives the impression that Dutkiewicz envied Mogielnicki. The main assumption was to get into the rock market, which was already a lucrative business or, let's quote the group Piersi ("We are already Americans"), to express it more clearly:
“Record an album, make money
And go on tour with the band
Turn a cash into a case of vodka
Cigarette box, young pussies.”
Klincz music was created to satisfy the tastes of listeners on national hit lists, and Kniat's skills in creating melodic, richly arranged hits made it even easier for her to reach top positions.
In March 1983, the group's first hit, "Słodki doping", reached the first place on the „Radiowa lista przebojów” of Program I Polish Radio - not to be confused with the Trójka Radio Hits List led by Marek Niedźwiecki. Subsequently, subsequent songs of the group "advanced" to the group of Klincz's hits: "Dla Ciebie staczam się", "Jak lodu bryła", "Gorączka", "Firma 'Salon gier'", "Dokąd, po co i jak" and the instrumental "Latarnik ".
Virtually every composition from the first album aspired to be a hit. The album "Gorączka" still receives good reviews. There's a lot of good guitar playing and monumental synthesizer sound here. Some songs may resemble the sound of Lombard from the "Szara maść" period. The second album "Jak lodu bryła" is different - more melancholic and "new romantic". It also produces hits and is appreciated by fans.
