Tempus Fugit was formed in 1992, by André Mello. Tales From a Forgotten World, the debut album, was released in 1997, and it's considered one of the best brazilian progressive rock bands CDs, with great reviews from around the world. It was recently remastered and re-released with two bonus tracks by Masque Records. The follow-up, The Dawn After The Storm, was released in 1999, and made the band consolidate itself asone of the top brazilian bands. After playing with Anekdoten and Nexus, at Buenos Aires Prog, Tempus Fugit was invited to play at Progfest 2000, being the first South American band that ever played at the renowned festival.
After these two great CDs, the band started to work in Chessboard. The result, after 6 years of hard work, shows a more mature band, with 5 superb compositions, and a few special guests. The artwork credits (a triple digipack) are for designer Bernard, who played bass and designed Tempus Fugit's first CD. Undoubtedly, it's a great music work, which will certainly be admired by Tempus Fugit fans around the world.
